Commemorating six years since first opening the doors to our Brooklyn tasting room, and made in partnership with the legendary Smokin’ Ed, HEATONIST No. 6 may be our most unique anniversary sauce yet. Tart stone fruit and berries combine with smoked shallot and garlic, balanced against sumac and bitter gentian root, while the warmth of cinnamon and cardamom round out the heat from Smokin’ Ed’s grassy chile de arbol peppers. This sauce’s bittersweet flavors echo our feelings of gratitude at celebrating an anniversary after a turbulent year, looking ahead to brighter days.
